STRUCTURES & BUILDINGS: GEOTECHNICAL SUPPORT

Our geotechnical team have provided geotechnical engineering support for a variety of building projects in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and abroad. We appreciate the challenging technical demands of these projects as well as the demanding requirements of Owners to design and construct often within tight budgets and tight schedules.

We understand the geotechnical requirements for timely, cost-effective solutions for building projects to ensure the continuity of operations, speed of construction, and reliability of design. We have been engaged directly by the facility owners, general contractors, or have been part of the design team engaged to provide cost effective solutions for building projects.

• Industrial infrastructure: investigation and design for conveyor systems including conventional conveyors, tubular steel galleries, transfer towers, crushing and screening buildings, production buildings, storage facilities, rail systems, hopper design and tank design.

• Municipal buildings: pump stations, community centres, park structures, operations centres, works yards, city structures.

• Land development: High rise towers, multi-family low to mid rise structures, earthworks, slope stabilization, geohazard assessments.

• Planning and Permitting
• Subdivision master planning support (early identification of geotechnical constraints)
• Geohazard Assessments
• Desktop studies
• Development permit support
• Hydrogeological studies
• Detailed Design
• Liquefaction analysis
• Site response analysis
• Shallow foundation design
• Deep foundation design
• Ground improvement analysis and design
• Drainage recommendations
• Slope stabilization design
• Geotechnical construction support
