MINING

Ecora geotechnical team design provide geotechnical support for mining projects across BC. We have a strong team of geotechnical engineers proficient in rock engineering that routinely undertake geotechnical investigation and design for mining projects. We develop geotechnical models, review and interpret rock testing, analyze ground movements and review geotechnical aspects of mine permitting and construction.

We provide geotechnical support for open pit and underground projects and can support projects in a FIFO arrangement with mining companies or provide office based geotechnical design. Our main areas of expertise are in the areas of geotechnical investigation, Tailing Storage Facilities (TSFs), waste dumps, open pit stability and geotechnical design and support for process plant and mine access road and bridge design. We also provide geotechnical support on gravel pit assessments and have worked with owners and First Nations in gravel pit assessments including associated Acid Rock Drainage/Metal Leaching (ARD/ML) requirements.
