SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Ecora building team provides consulting support for a large variety of building types. This includes commercial, residential, industrial and institutional facilities. We work with our clients to design sustainable buildings that are energy efficient and seismically resilient. We have worked on many Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited projects and pride ourselves on our ability to provide pragmatic engineering advice to our clients across the building sector.

Our building team consists of structural engineers, landscape architects and geotechnical engineers combined with full civil engineering support, GIS, drafting and materials testing support. We can also provide environmental permitting support and contaminated sites support including reclamation and remediation.

Our building teams are well versed in the implications of climate change and strive to design buildings that will be resistant to the increasing effects of flooding and other geoclimatic drivers. Ecora engineers and scientists stay abreast of changes in Federal and Provincial building codes as well as local bylaws. We understand the complexities and intricacies of buildings and the attention to detail required to deliver a successful building project.

We use the latest structural, mechanical, geotechnical and civil design software and have full GIS, drafting and survey support in-house.

From the foundations to the façade, Ecora can provide a full suite of services in a coordinating professional role or we can provide a discipline-specific service as a subconsultant.
