Summary: Geotechnical investigation and design support for relocation of the former control tower at Pitt Meadows airport
Ecora is providing geotechnical support for relocation of the former control tower at Pitt Meadows Airport which will be incorporated into an exciting new hangar development. Ecora completed auger drilling/sampling at the site followed by Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs). Subsurface conditions at the airport comprise of soft to firm clays extending to considerable depth and present challening geotechnical considerations for foundation support.
