MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE: GEOTECHNICAL SUPPORT

Ecora’s geotechnical team provides consulting support throughout British Columbia for a large variety of municipal, provincial government and provincial Crown corporations. We understand the monetary and schedule constraints often imposed on these projects as well as the level of public scrutiny and accountability to the taxpayer. We work with municipalities to manage these challenges and develop cost-effective, pragmatic geotechnical engineering solutions that take into account impacts to the public, serviceability, maintenance and life cycle costs. Our geotechnical team has provided geotechnical support for dikes, dams, bridges, utility upgrades, multi-use pathways, road upgrades, culvert replacements, sinkhole, landslide and flooding emergency response, pump stations, manhole and chamber design, substations, capacitor stations, embankments, hydraulic structures, drainage as well as expert witness and insurance claims.
