LABORATORY & MATERIALS TESTING

Ecora operates a Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL) certified soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials laboratory and also collaborates with several other independent laboratories. For advanced geotechnical soils testing, Ecora partners with the University of British Columbia which is equipped with state-of-the-art GDS Instruments equipment, including fully automated consolidometers, direct shear, cyclic direct simple shear, triaxial, soil suction, and thermal conductivity apparatus. We note that avoiding sample disturbance due to transportation is critical to obtaining successful results for advanced soil testing should the need for this testing arise.
